Six popular Sentosa attractions are grouped in a cluster called Imbiah Lookup. The eight attractions are:
These attractions are sited so close together that you need not spend more than 5 minutes to walk from one attraction to another. The easiest way to get to Imbiah Lookup is by Sentosa Express, a monorail train which will bring you directly to Imbiah Lookup station. You can take the train at level 3 of Vivocity shopping mall. The other way is to take a cable car ride from Harbour Front Tower 2 (2 blocks from Vivocity) or Mount Faber to Sentosa's Cable Car station.
From Imbiah Lookup station, the nearest attraction is The Merlion. This is the ideal spot for you to take a photo with the tallest symbol of Singapore - The Merlion.

Another exciting and adventurous attraction is Sentosa Luge and Skyride. My kids and myself enjoyed the ride very much. Children 5 years old and above can either ride on his own or accompany by an adult if he is unable to handle the luge by himself. At the luge finishing point, you will then take the skyride to return to the starting point.

Butterfly Park and Insect Kingdom is one of the Sentosa attractions that is not in my visiting list, if not because of my kids insisting on going. We were blessed and given a fantastic show by a handful of well trained parrots. That was really unexpected. I was puzzled as the show timing was not published in its website and brochure. You can only find it at the park's ticket booth. The show time is at 11.30am, 2 and 4pm. Go to Parrot Show Video page for a preview of the show.
Look out for a small hut shown in the following photo if you are looking for an ideal spot to take some butterfly photographs.

'Shake, rattle and laugh out loud', this was what advertised in Sentosa 4D AdventureLand leaflet. Plus scary for some timid people, my son is one of them. He would have cried and dragged me out half way of the show if he were inside the theatre with me. Though I'm tough and brave, I have to close my eye when the hornets flied towards me as if they were going to sting on my face. And I'm not prepared to be tossed and turned about in my chair. Interestingly to me, sprays of water suddenly fall onto my head and face from all directions. This could be fun but not to my wife. She would have shown me a black face after the show for being got wet. After all, it's fun and a good experience if you get prepared for it.
